What is a Mind Body Skills Group?
Based on the life-long work of Dr. James Gordon and The Center for Mind Body Medicine, a Mind Body Skills Group offers practical tools of self-care and provides a small group experience that fosters mutual support. Group members will learn a wide range of evidence-based self-care techniques that promote physiological and psychological balance, enhance self-awareness and compassion, and enable the skillful use of this approach with others.
My Background
I have been with the Center for Mind Body Medicine since 2020. Initially, I joined a group for my own self-care as it was offered to me as a professional development opportunity. I quickly realized that I had found my people and wanted to learn how to bring this work to others. I am an Advanced Practitioner and have received extensive training since my first group in 2020. That said, I have facilitated and co-facilitated groups from Israel to Indiana helping others empower themselves to take better care of themselves.
